The first quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends in the performance of the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Uruguay. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users.

Viatik: Viajes Compartidos had a fluctuating download trend throughout Q1 2024. The app started strong with 4.6K downloads in the first week of January. BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, starting at 225 downloads in the first week of January and dropping to 127 by early March. Active users ranged from 1.3K to 1.4K, showing a fairly stable trend throughout the quarter.
